vincentpellerin! Stop picking. That is what is wrong with the world of sax playing. No one plays melodies any more, because there are too many people like you wanting to write essays on what they've heard, rather than listen to the instrument, with the tombre closest to the human voice, sing! I respect the speed and accuracy most sax players explore chromatics but I feel the world has been starved of the saxophone voice. Yes Kenny G was a singer on the sax. I love this woman! (ha ha ha)

Nice Kenny G inspiration lyrically... well done! If I may: Choosing a song, usually sang, is not easy for an instrumentist. I usually avoid taking a song with repetitive notes as they are not very interresting musically. (good example here in the chorus). Nice pop solo! But watch your pitch in the G# split tone !!!

Nah, he's probably just a young person who wants to fit in with everyone else. If he listens to modern rock he has no idea what talent is since they just write music for the money and usually their popular songs are just about regular shit that's been sung a dozen times before them just with a different more appealing sound/style. Rap and Hip-Hop can't really be ripped on though since that is like rock for black people, I don't like it but I don't know many black kids who like AIC either.

Fantastic drummer. Fantastic guitarist.Fantastic Singer. Fantastic bassist. Fantastic band. Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains were good, but the musicanship in Alice in Chains is far more inspiring, in my opinion. And maybe it is a good thing that grunge has moved on, cuz if it came back it would never reach this level of intensity. Ever. And modern bands that try and sound like this will never have the same impact. Maybe the next wave of talented musicians will have a similar impact.
