Nightwish with Tarja was the best band that will ever be! Some thing about the music and her voice just hit on such a deep and emotional level. Very powerfull. Anette just doesn't cary the depth that Tarja did. Fare well Nightwish.

Stop your bitching. Things changed when Taja got with Marcelo because he convinced her she could do better than Nightwish. She doesn't like metal music in the first place which she has said in many interviews. So she went off and did her own thing. Of course the band will hate Marcelo because he has taken away one of the integral parts of the band. I personally hate him for what he has made Nightwish become, Euro-pop.

Just saying this out loud but what happened was for the best. If the Europeans did not colonize in North America, then human advancements would be slower. Well, I'd prefer if she didn't sing The Siren but each to their own, I guess. What I am sick of more than the comparisons is that people saying Tuomas is Nightwish. I hate it when people say that because no one cares about the rest of the guys and Tuomas, all by himself, wouldn't be Nightwish.

As far as I know, Anette's never sung this one, and hopefully she won't, as it's all wrong for her voice. Anette shines on songs like Come Cover Me, The Siren, and Ever Dream-songs that needed the smoke and heat Tarja just doesn't have. Tarja is mist and light, like what Sleeping Sun and Wishmaster need. I personally like both singers, but I do get tired of the constant comparisons, and those who insist Tarja was perfect, which I've seen a lot of here.

No one is saying Tarja is flawless, it's a natural thing to make mistakes. As for the change in the band, the music is as amazing as it had always been. The only thing that bothers me is Anette trying to sing songs that were iconic in Tarja's era, just like this one although it's a cover. It's not called interpretation, it's called screaming songs that you actually can't sing. She should definitely sing the stuff her voice can manage and leave the rest.

Because some people think of Nightwish as a way of life, when Nightwish is a band. Some people think Tarja was (and is) a flawless singer, when in fact she muffs lyrics and misses notes just like every other singer. And some people think that if they scream loud enough, an international band will do what they want, instead of what's best for the band. And those people don't deserve the attention they're getting. To me she is doing very fine there expressing the emotions of the different songs in a very suitable, very touching way. I think the reason that this cover, hate it or love it, stands out among other bands is because its such a radically different version of the same song, and that i belive just shows the skill of nightwish, because they can take an acoustic ballad from a psychadellic band, and transform it into a kick ass heavy metal song

Kreator sounds so much better live then studio. I dont really like the more 'polished' sound they have out of the studio on violent revolution and enemy of god, but i heard that they were aiming for a more brutal sound with hordes of chaos when it comes out. thats gunna be badass
