I miss the old Western Playland. The new one at Sunland Park just isnt the same. And yeah Chicos is an aquired taste... i have family that comes from Chicago and the first thing they do when they get here is eat Chicos. No one would know about El Paso unless they've been in jail? Please...

I agree that Chico's Tacos is not all what it's cracked up to be. Bt do keep in mind that it's a local flavor that has been acquired. Many people swear that their mom or grandma make the best tacos or enchiladas or whatever only because that is what they are use to being fed. Many El Pasoans are full of pride and being proud of some runned-down joint makes people happy. Just try to respect that - even if you don't like those watered down rolled tacos. PS. I DO NOT like them either.

i lived in el paso for 2 years, worst time of my life. i almost had a heart attack when i moved back to houston. haha no one knows about that desert city in texas unless they've been to prison
