this is from the video of the concert. Its an absolute disgrace that they turned down Brian's guitar to the point where the backing guitar is louder than his. I'm a long time fan of Queen, and this is one of my favourite performances of Brians - he's on stage with the likes of COcker and Winwood - people he considers legends, he puts everything into it. Superb. BBC, shame on you!

The Custom Shop Artist Series Clapton Strat is very overpriced. I feel the regular signature Clapton Strat however is just the right price for what you get. BTW I'm sure you could learn how to play guitar. It's never too late or too early to start learning especially when it comes to music.

Yes I read that on youtube as well but according to Fender, Clapton actually uses his signature model Stratocaster, which is also available to the public. I have tried the 2008 Clapton signature and it does have the mid boost and TBX circuits equiped. As far as I know, Clapton has only used 3 Stratocasters without TBX. Blackie, Crash 3, and "The Christmas Strat".

This one is Crash 1(also known as the "Over The Rainbow Strat") and it has the mid-boost. But, you are correct that crash 3 does not have the mid-boost. I believe it didn't have the mid-boost because it was meant to be sold at the Christies Auction on June 24, 2004.

Excellent! I finally found this video. I am in this video, part of the people walking behind Phil in the train station. It was made in Geneva in Jan. 03. I remember that day, is was sooo cold, and we hade to make each take at least 5 times..
