With all due respect, no offence. There are 2 types of white people.. There was those who break danced with us in the early 80s, you know the beasty boy type, eminem type, and then the sheltered upper class ones who didnt intermingle with us till they got older.. Hey, guess what Afrika Bambaataa sampled to create Planet Rock? Two songs by Kraftwerk, who were white guys from Germany. Although you are right. Everyone needs to calm down! Sampling has been around since the first days of hip-hop, and will continue to exist for ever. The argument against kanye, however, is that he does not really add anything to the song he is sampling, just looping the same part with some catchy hook; Club Music no doubt.

This guy is the ultimate rip off artist. He steals the riff from Curtis Mayfield's Move on Up in this song. He steals stuff from Steely Dan in Champion and who knows what else. No originality here, what a piece!
