Bad news fellas. It's a fact that ALL of the audio track recorded during the actual filming was replaced, including the sound of tires and thumps from the landings. In fact the same engine audio track was reused for the chase in the movie THE SEVEN UPS.

19504x4, it's not overrated to guys who have musclecars in their blood. To those of us who think the roar of a V-8 is sweet music, and love the smell of burning rubber, then this chase scene reigns supreme. There is none better. Every other chase scene either uses cars that suck, or have some phony quality, like enhanced engine sounds or computer generated image crapola. I also would have liked to see a GM car in the mix. A 3-car chase would have been sweet.

Janosik was Slovak - That's true! But here it is not his biography, the story is just based on legends about him (common also one the Polish side of the Tatra mountains where he was also active). As I remeber characters in this series are more "highlanders" (during the Austro-Hungary era) than Poles or Slovaks. So don't panic dear neighbours! :D

Well Juliet seems to view herself as a victim to this day, although I have no sympathy. They committed murder because they were frustrated and desperate true, but that is no excuse. Also as for the insanity plea and ther "punishment" they are at the present normal, and they got over eachother. Juliet is a successful writer. How suprising, her genre is murder mystery and fantasy.

I kinda feel torn. You feel sorry for them because of how their parents treated them, yet at the same time you think they went to far and they shouldn't have killed her mother. I really am nto sure what too think.

This is one of my favorite movies. I first saw it at 15 and I loved it. Now everytime I see it I relate to the mother more and more to the point where I can't watch it anymore. I always thought that the murder was awful, but up until 20 minutes before the end I related to them. So yes, they should have been punished, and more than five years.

Juliet just did it becuase she didnt want to dissepoint her friend but Pauline was just crazy, to kill your own mother for god sake she give you birth. Well ok she needed to move to southafrica and they tought this is the best thing to do. well they could write eachother and wait till they were like 18 and visut eachoter again then they could still be friends now.

They weren't too young for the death penalty because New Zealand didn't and still doesn't have the death penalty! I think they were given a open sentence, which meant it was up to officials as to when they got out. The got out so early because of good behaviour.
