Sounds kind of like a less progressed version of my band, when we first started out in the music biz a few years back. But now we've progressed, and I think most would agree that we've advanced past the level that "The Beetles" are on. If you'd check out our songs on our channel I think you'd agree with me. Our lyrics are far more meaningful, and our vocalist is 1000 times better. Btw, my band manager said he hasn't even heard of these clowns.

An absolutely fantastic 5* stunning performance from Roxy and Bryan!!!!! Bryan has apparently said this was the first song he ever wrote. Eddie Jobson was very young at this time, only 17 or 18 I think. Stranded is my fave Roxy album. What joy today when I found this on You Tube. I had taped this version on my VCR (& still have it) many, many years ago but I had missed the beginning of it. Ithink that it was recoded in Germany but I could be wrong. This is my favourite song & in particular this live version.I also thought of the likeness of Sharon Davies. Interesting for several reasons. Does Ferry sing his highest recorded note here? The sudden switch from harmonica back to singing and the catch of the tambourine are quite theatrical. Ferry's delivery somewhat contradicts the lyrics so I am sure whether the song is satirical or sincere.

Overall, its good. Ringo is playing most of the song wrong though. All three verses have different drum beats. He is playing the first verse pattern all the way through. He is also playing eighth note kick drum after the little guitar riff that comes back into the verse that are not on the record. Otherwise, I'm impressed.

This band has the wrong name . It should be called johns cavern beatles. I agree with whabrock. If you are going to be a beatles tribute band, you need to get the history right. This includes doing all the guitar and drum parts as accurate as possible. Not for getting the vocals. The cavern bealtes focus totally on its john member. Yes he does an excellent job. He has all these solo spots but dont hide the other three members behind him.
