I agree with smadewell. I was about to leave a similar comment to his, but then I thought twice. Sometimes the political & geopolitical factors also have to be addressed, given the nature of many Evangelicals. Still, it's disturbing to witness a fusion of church & state. Many Jews complain about harrassment from Christians who continually try and sell Jesus to them. There is a sea of diference being exp,laining a religion on a video where people can volunarily tune in if they want, and being harassed n the work place about it. And we find it particulary annoying since it often is accompanied by "if you don't you are going to hell,"

Q: The video says that Jews and Christians both believe at the end of time, "all people" will come to see the truth in their religion/faith. That does not match the teachings of the New Testament in the Christian Bible, and I'm not sure it matches the Old Testament which comes from Jewish scripture. "All people" --- ???

Where is free will? I (generic I) think I'm right. You think you're right. We tell/educate about our faith - as in these videos. Why is that offensive? To me, if someone tells a Christian (or other) they do not want to hear about that faith, and the person continues - it is hounding and offensive. Without the hounding?

Why not just focus on keeping it "balanced & historical," while improving the world through acts of loving-kindness & charity - without a political agenda & without an agenda to convert people away from their chosen faith. first-the point of the video was about the alck of ending to the series- not on the artisitic value. second-I said I liked it. third-violence and vulgaity are way too prominent in the media, have very corrosive effects on the American public. think what you want. Did not mean it to be a diatribe. I saw some episodes and like them. I agree it was artisitic. Iyts obvious to me, and many, that so much violence and vulgarity on tv has had a bad impact on our souls. My main point, however, is not about the show, but its lack of an ending to make a homilitical point

Would you say that about Network? Double Indemnity? The Crucible? The Manchurian Candidate? West Side Story? Macbeth? This is not life, this is art. It has purpose. It tells a story. And further, like all those other works of art I named, The Sopranos never says these are good people, and always reminds us they're murders and wrongdoers. The creator--DAVID Chase is his name--even says as much in interviews. This seems quite an unfair diatribe toward a show it doesn't even sound like you've seen.
