I'll never forget when me and my friends went to see "Woodstock" in a movie theatre, and we dragged my mom in because she was our ride. Cocker was the only performer she enjoyed, while Hendrix and the Who curled my toes.

That's funny...I was just pondering what might have been had a B-52 Stratofortress verred off from engagments in southeast Asia and paid a visit to Max Yasgur's acerage in New York somewhere around the later part of summer in 1969.

Many great performers in the past NEVER wrote a song. They were singers, not writers. (Which is maybe why they sang really well.)
