I love Sufjan Stevens...Ive had this insane obsession for his songs for a couple of years and when he came to AUS i was too young to travel so far [about 1000km] to see him...How is it that one person can make you feel so happy/sad/selfloving/empathetic whatever in one song, its just remarkable. Its like falling in love all over again everytime i hear his songs.

Well hardcore Christian if youve read your Bible at all youd know that homosexuality is a sin "You shall not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable" Leviticus 18:22 Sufjan himself is not gay but is an open Christian. A lot of people think he is gay because of the song to be alone with you. "You gave your body to the lonely" and "To be alone with me you went up on a tree" are clear cruxifiction references. The songs not about another man, he is not gay.
