There isnt the characteristic high pitch whistle of the turbo? BOVS are put in the car just for the cool sound. Many different BOVs exist just for different sounds. Not all turbo BOVs sound high pitch. Mine for example sounds like a pidgeon cooing. Also the car didn't travel very far so the BOV sound shouldn't die that much.
