Yeah, I definitely agree with you on the originality aspect of it, but I dunno.. Theres just something about Pearts playing that makes me disinterested, maybe its the music and not his drumming because he definitely doesnt lack in the skill or originality department. As for whos better.. We could sit here all day and argue about it and never come to a conclusion. They each have their pros and cons although I dont think we could list the cons very easily since they dont seem to have many.

Yeah. Peart uses a lot of styles. Not all obviously. But he plays a rap rhythm in the song roll the bones for example. He is not the best in every style. He mastered many styles as he could and mixed toghether. It's a hard hard work to do that.

Mike Portnoy > Neil Peart Peart was good for his time, but thats long gone. Neil Peart couldnt even shake a stick at half the drummers these days. He just doesnt have what it takes anymore. And Im not in anyway saying Peart is bad because he definitely deserves to go down as one of the best drummers to ever hold a pair of sticks, but hes just not up to par anymore.

animal neglect is actually very typical of petco and petsmart,but its not just the cute/furry animals that are suffering, i went into one of their stores today and saw that the reptiles and their enclosures were in unacceptable conditions,the reptiles had no heat source whatsoever"which is crucial for there survival"cages were at 65 degrees, which is way below the corrects temps, cages were full of feces,no clean water, absolutely unacceptable. when animals get sick, they are put in the freezer

i totally agree with RoboGull. i am currently employed at a Petsmart in NY. we take DAMN good care of our animals. every once in a while we will get a few hamsters with wet tail(diarrea) but that is ONLY when they are new arrivals and its because they are stressed out. its nothing that nutralyte and uniprim cant fix most of the time. i check them all everyday, and yes its a pain in the ass, but i consider every single animal there to be my pet, and i care for them as such.
