Hi Carol, I was just teasing. Actually I know New Zealand curls because there is a guy from my hometown who curls for New Zealand. If I'm not mistaken, he even played in the Winter Olympics. Hard to believe that the ice freezes there. Lakes in my area are frozen for three months of the year sometimes. Cheers!

Hi There. Lovely to hear from you in Canada. Actually we are New Zealanders (Kiwis). Yes we play ice hockey we have the biggest international indoor curling rink in the Southern Hemisphere, a few miles from where this natural ice is at Naseby. Carol x

Carol I know where I'd be during this..right on my butt lol. Only way I could stop here on our pond was to head for a snowbank. Sherry
