While Codeine is mild (per mg) compared to Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and Morphine, Tramadol / Ultram on the other hand is even weaker than Codeine, for most people. The FDA does not classify Tramadol as a narcotic or a controlled substance even though it's still perscription only. Tramadol sucks for most people. Codeine is usually a Schedule III / CIII narcotic when combined with Tylenol (as with Hydrocodone + Tylenol or other crap. Codeine is Schedule II when its just Codeine alone.

I take/abuse Tramadol (Zydol) to get high, 500mg (10 * 50mg capsules) in one go. It gives a great high as well as feeling calm and sleepy. The downside is I get Itchy all over my body sometimes scratching till I bleed.

I have two broken hips and I am waiting for a total hip replacement. I am on 200mg of tramadol a day, the active ingredient of Ultracet, and I wouldn't even know I was on it. "Useless" is the word I'm looking for and those of you wanting to get high should know that while it does bind with opiate receptors, it is around 1/6000 the strength of morphine in terms of its euphoric affect. This is the last drug in the world you could become addicted to. It also blocks the effect of other opiate drugs.

its the best newer anticonvulsant I think as i was on dilantin for 38 years! yikes it ruined all my bones then it was ruining my liver so I had to get off of the dilantin. So now Im on the topamax. No med is 100 percent safe I think

I just started taking Topamax yesterday, and I really hope that it does help with the weight loss. That might actually be a nice side effect. I'm on it to treat my migraines and to help with my mood swings. My neurologist referred me to a psychiatrist, because they think I'm bipolar, and apparently this medication can be used for that as well

the pins and needles go away. I think 400 mgs a day might have been making my hair fall out, so I went off it. I did lose a TON of weight on it though.

I take topamax, and I have memory problems and a pins and needles feeling in my legs and feet throughout the day. I'm on 100 mg. So, it's not the best medication to be on.
