It's true that there are no grants available ONLY to men. I was helping a male friend of mine (white male) try to find financial aide for college. To say the least, it was a frustrating task. Incidently, I had to take a Women's Studies course (fulfilled a liberal arts credit), but most of that course was spent reading female authors and writing reviews. Also, as for the "wage gap". This is real, but ONLY because of the choices that WOMEN make. Women choose easier, lower paying jobs more often, and even when they do the exact SAME jobs as men, it has been PROVEN that they work LESS hours per week on average and take more time off in the long run. i've just been looking on the EU gender rights web page, they published the statistic showing the pay gap in europe is, for men, on average 15% higher for the same work. i dont know if the american congress publish similar statistics, but i attest that the grant funding for EU women in business is fair because of pay discrimination in the work place based on sex. yes, this is a privilege. at the expense of men? that depends on % distribution of non-gender specified grants between the sexes.

I don't think that anyone is actually suggesting SAHM's should get paid, I think it's simply a role reversal for men and working moms alike to understand all that we do and that we'd just like a thank you and recognition that we aren't laze abouts who mooch off of our men. I've got the 6-6-6 solution. In divorce, women should be the primary caregivers for the first six years. For the middle six years from ages 6-12, men and women should share custody 50-50. From 12-18 men should be the primary caregivers. This simple compromise would benefit the society at large, the children, the parents...basically everyone.
