it looses low end torque but it gains so much high end horsepower and shifts easier and smoother. my just got straight pipes on my 97 Tbird.

im surprised that you took of the resenator cuz then you have no back pressure what so ever. ik with the res on atleast i have some back pressure. what do you to compensate for the lack of torque?

dosen't have much done to it...it has a new jasper engine, msd coil packs and ignition box, k&n cold air intake,17" Wheels clear corner lights,Hid headlights, tinted windows and a full stereo system... as for the exhaust its straight pipes from the cats, I removed the 2 mufflers and the resonator, and im not sure but I think the pipes are 3 or 4 inches in diameter...This video is from last year..ill have to put a new one up with the new engine.

what size tips are those(length inlet diameter, overall diameter)? because what i did was just cut the mufflers off as close as i could and im either going to put tubing there with turndown tips, or tips like the ones on this one.

well its a bitch to do ive done it on ym 97 he probably just straight pipped it from the resenator back. basically where the 2 pipes after the cats meet up there is a end and the back part of the exhaust bolts up to that along with 1 hangar and a hangar at the end of each muffler and 2 bolts on the hanger on the mufflers takes about an hour to do it that is to remove it.

nice man....im planning on doin the same with my mufflers. does that thing have a lot of drone? and hows it set up, is it just the mufflers cut off and replaced with those tips, or what?
