George Best is indeed the GREATEST EVER in football, to NEVER WIN a World Cup. Just like Dirk Nowitzki of B-ball, never won NBA title, or Olympic Medal. Some of the Best WHITE athletes I know never won the BIG PRICE, these two are PERFECT examples. Jordan and Pele won EVERYTHING in their respective sports. You can all make reasons why they never won, fact is George Best is OVERRATED, no thanks to his FANS. Rest in Peace, GEORGE, extraordinary player but not the best.

Look at the majority of the pitch's in these videos.... there mud, Best still keeps the ball on his foot and avoids defenders. Maradona never played football in the poor weather that Best did. Simply stated, Best ever.

Best could outrun and torture defender which is funny and amazing,and right after scoring goals,now i have never seen pele do that,he has no tricks,nothing,just a simple soccer player who was there at the right time to score and he was a bit speedy but that's it,so i don't know how anyone can think of this man to be better than best,that's just laughable really.

George never had the supporting cast at N Ireland that Pele had in Brazil or that snow sniffer in Argentina. Obviously the education in those developing countries is still developing.
