Not only do they sound absolutely terrific, but you can see they're really having a great time! Does anyone know if Andy's brothers are still alive? The Andy Williams Christmas shows were a great tradition and put everyone in the mood. I have them on DVD and play them every year.

I recently went to an estate auction, I bought a Magnavox stereo made in 1967. The big wood furniture type. WOW does it sound good. I can play my old records again. It came with over 20 christmas albums inside. And Andys were soime of them. I got it for only $25.00. I looks and sounds as good as the day it was made. In Indiana, not China. They sure don't make stuff like that anymore.

Heard this song on AM radio, in my parents truck/camper, on a trip to Yellowstone, in the mid-60's (I was in grade school)...and it has always stuck with me..I think it's the orchestra/pizzicato strings that stand out for me...Percy Faith's instrumental is also very nice...

Fred Astaire was certainly an underrated singer (Cole Porter wrote frequently with Astaire in mind) but he's no Mel Tormé. Tormé was quite simply one of the most gifted vocalists this planet has ever seen -- flawless technique with incomparable smoothness that the rest of us, including Michael Bublé, can only hope to aspire to. This is a great slow tempo version allowing Mel to showcase some of that trademarked smoothness. The king of cool!
