A true reformer wouldn't have to run a dirty campaign, a true reformer wouldn't have to shield his VP from as much scrutiny as possible, a true reformer wouldn't repeatedly lie (in verifiable ways) and then lie/evade some more to avoid admitting it. Lastly and most importantly, a true reformer would NOT make the campaign about personalities, but would in-as-much as possible focus the campaign around issues, for that's what reform is all about. It's amazing that McCain has even 1% US support.

Just because someone is a hero doesn't mean they're qualified to run a country that is in serious trouble. Furthermore, the choices he's made (leaving his first wife after her accident immediately after returning home) making crass remarks about Clinton's daughter etc etc bring his real, unpresidential personality to light. ps - I'm neither Republican or Democrat, I'm Canadian.
