i prefer to grind ledges as it is easier to wax and if i fall i fall on to the ledge rather than over the rail. also if you lived in deal you would like me know that there is f**k all 2 skate weve been kicked out of everywhere else:P

to me a ledge is more challenging to skate because you are grinding on the corner, so u usually have to keep your body/balance sligtly to one side of the curb, depending on the grind. a practice rail on the other hand, you can usually keep your body/balance right over the top of the rail while you grind... what i'm saying is, you might feel more comfortable learning on a small practice rail because you dont quite have the balance yet. also, the more you bend your knees the better your balance.

nice effort. you'll be a freeroller yet. my best advice is practice stalling on the ledge with little to no speed. this helps you learn your balance, and it slows you down so you can see exactly what you're doing with your feet. if you cant solidly lock into a grind, theres no use trying. once you get the hang of locking on, THEN try with a little speed. practice your grinds one at a time. repetition is the key. its probly easier to learn on a practice rail versus a ledge.

nice mook frames. IMO they are the best for ledges, flat rails, hand rails and anything you want to slide. keep up the skating
