HEY IDIOT, The term "Heavy Metal" started long before Sabbath. It did not mean "dark lyrics", it was grinding guitar, big drums and screaming vocals. Zeppelin and many others were doing it long before and definately better than B/S. Sabbath (like Kiss) was a band we all used to laugh about. SABBATH SUCKS!! I first heard this together with the "Black Sabbath" song when I played one of my Mom's vinyl record collections back in 1982. I was 6 years old then. It scared the living hell out of me at first. Then I grew up liking it. Thanks to my Mom. She is a closet heavymetal fan. LOL!!! Sabbath is a major influence when I was growing up and playing in bands, even today.

I mean this: 1970,Ozzy wants to rip like its 1980 or 1990 he wants to crank the punk out hard and loud. Screw melody. Chop-chop-chop guitar slashing out three chords. Well happy, want to clarify a few things for you. There are most certainly points in BJJ competitions. You get points for takedowns, passing your opponents guard (side mount, full mount, rear mount), successfully sweeping and reversing position on the ground. Yes the chance of breaking something is higher in BJJ than Judo but its very very rare to occur in competition. Really I see no point in fighting between the two arts, both are awesome and quite similar as well.

the thing about judo is is that it isn't harmfull as any other 'fighting' sport if it is done right other fighting sports are just brutal and about strenght this one is about good timing and having control of your techniques and having your opponent on his back is more then enough to call it defeated no blood is needed for a good victory

in my opinion it is just that most of the fighters get their opponent on the back right away and you dont see a lot of other techniques besides throws but of course there are a lot more i understand that and the reason that bjj is too dangerous is just nonsense comon a suplex in wrestling is way more dangerous than other techniques in bjj so to me that is not even an argument i just think submission grappling or bjj should also be an olympic discipline because it has so many more techniques

you are right but if the opponent does not hit the ground with his back, then the players have to move to next movement and they have to use the correct skills or tricks to takedown the opponent then ref check if the player used power, correct skills. and then they get points. But BJJ, it's just fighting i mean it is too dangerous. players may break their bones easier than other sports player. And one more thing, are there points in Bjj? i dont think so

I've tried a couple of martial arts, all of them were great, but for me judo is the best, philosophy wise, the science behind the techniques, the effectiveness on the mat and on the street, etc. Regardless i know a lot of people that even though have respect for judo, they think bjj is better and their main arguments come from mma..

uhm,because almost every title holder in every mma organization has a STRONG judo background? it probaly doesnt sound right but lets start with UFC. bj penn has a black belt in judo and grew up training with the camarillos, GSP and rashad evans both train in Gaidojutsu (jacksons submission fighting) which is a mix of wrestling and JUDO, anderson silva got his bjj black belt from nogueira who has a black belt in judo,and anderson silvas s/c coach is a judo black belt,thats only the ufc champs btw

Actually...I'd say Judo is more practical for the streets. I'd rather throw someone on their head and knock them out with that than try and pull guard on them and try to choke them out with a gogoplata or something, lol. Actually, this is not right. The point system 3-5-7-10 is used only in team competitions. It should be avoided, since it only creates confusion. Judo points are not very difficult. FORGET the 3-5-7-10. IPPON = Perfect throw / Pinning the opponent for 25 seconds / Holding the arm or strangle the opponent (who surrenders). The judoka which is awarded an IPPON wins. WAZA ARI = very good throw, but not enough for an Ippon. Pinning the opponent for 20 seconds. 2 Waza Ari = Ippon.
