Im having a lot more internet friends when it comes to sights like facebook and tagged and you tube. my real friends is kinda weird i mean as you get older your real stay but dont seem to see much of them so its more a of comfort to make more friends via the net.I met girlfriends and new friends off the net and i love it there been some times when it good and some time when met them it kinda gone bad and the magic is not there like how we chatted onlineor swapped convosations. but yeh good topic

I trust my internet friends more than my "real life" friends; not that I have many "real life" friends. I even met 2 of my internet friends this past summer. My internet friends are way better although I hate that I can't actually hang out with them. In short, I probably would be really lonely without my internet friends.

The entire question depends on your definition of the word "friends". Most of the people I talk to on the internet are not friends, but aquaintances. for that matter, a larger percentage of the people i talk to in real life are aquaintances rather than friends. Some of the best Real life friends I have, i initially met on the internet. But if someone is my friend I don't distinguish among them by where we met. My friends are just my friends. even if i met them at the garbage dump...

...for the internet .and i think you probably need to feel close to your real friends because they all kinda live nearer to you, but having said that is it were not for the internet it would not be as easy to understand other cultures. I have am 14 but i haven't had the internet long but i feel as if its easier to tell internet friends things because i never have to meet them and don't have to deal with the consequences of my actions but i think to acquire the correct social skills to revive in the real world and its feels more human to know someone in the flesh who hasn't in a way photoshopped there personality ...

i agree too. internet friends r awesome, but when it comes to problems and secrets, it's your real friends that you'll have to trust. well, that's just my opinion :) bcoz ur real friends are the people you know and see most of the time, unlike ur internet friends who you'd just see when ur online and stuff, so u couldn't really tell if some of them are backstabbing you or something. but ur internet friends could be trusted too, just make sure to know them better b4 giving out stuff. see ya! :)

Honestly, I think internet friends are cool and all. But I like real friends better since you can interact with them throughout your daily lives, and they do become something as close as family. Internet friends are just there, friends or not.
