You know, you could get a similar "translation" if you did it in Frisian (a west Netherlands language that's laregly intelligible with English) to make it sound like Frysk words. Biggest differences would be "Ik" would have to be used, "kop" for head then would have a double entendre, and a few other small things, but most of it would be just as off the wall and crazy. I also don't think you could get "fart in the duck" but maybe something equally as absurd. Wonder if someone wants to try it.

I'll take your word for it, because after maybe a dozen viewings -- I am easily amused -- I've MEMORIZED the fake lyrics without meaning to and I really have to work not to hear most of them (there are a few gross mismatches where it's easy, and a few places where I think I hear other things in English, e.g. "clairvoyant crab").

Another thing that makes this such a kick is that, while the translation is way off, the facial expressions fit perfectly. To see the dumbfounded look on some of the characters' face, you'd think they really WERE reacting to such vulgar statements.

While phonetic misinterpretations are no longer unique or original, this remains hysterical partially because of what it acomplished in the process. Part of what makes it funny is the irony that this was just an innocent kids show, and then they turned it into an extremely vulgar song as a side effect of mistranslation. Calling out A religion, homosexuals, and an ethnicity in the first verse is pretty damned impressive.
