Sisizew, find out the origin of the word "Ethiopian." It may mean more than the modern nation of Ethiopia. Do you really think they do not know they are not from modern Ethiopia? They are not claiming that either. Knowledge of the past is the answer to many of today's realities. The world is mainly taught only from T.V. sound bytes broadcasting from corporate Media, immersed in capitalist pursuits and dedication. The right places in the internet is gradually bridging that gap.

judaism isn't european. I am tunisian and I am jewish and last time I checked the only german we have had in tunisia was the arrival of hitler on our soil. The Talmud was comprised in Babylon, which would make it complete by a semetic person. Also the Jerusalem Talmud was created in none other JERUSALEM...where does Germany come into this. Ethiopians are just as Jewish as I am, but Amharic is not the true Hebrew and maybe you should learn Aramaic because it is similar we have prayers in aramaic

Also for comments that say if people are from africa you are black....very ignorant. I'm african and I am far from black. Whatever their reasonings are between them and g-d, but their traditions reflect a lot of american christianity and also some what reform ashkenazim of the US. It would do Americans good to learn more about the world and not get into the arguement of whether jews were black or brown...These people clearly lack the oral torah and the ancient traditions-

Anyone who says you are black if you are from Africa is quite ignorant. I am from Tunisia, which is in AFRICA and I am not black. I am Jewish and my family can trace our roots in Tunisia back 2500 years. There were black jews, but because you're in Egypt does not make you black. Blacks in Egypt are Nubians. Moses married a Nubian, but putting a color on Jews is quite dumb. And Abraham came from an area that is now Iraq and they decended into Egypt...we DID NOT come from Egypt.

No offense intended, but you are ignorant of Islamic law. It's a rule that shows an Arab-nationalist slant of Islam. Why would it surprise you that a religion codified by Arabs shows some self-preference? You can find racism developed in all three bible-based religions. Just look at the racist comments by Jews in this thread that probably have descended from Khazars in Russia.
