It's bastardisation of "adio" which is similar to "adios". It is a correct term. My father is from Krsko and "adijo" is the only word we use for goodbye. However, on many ocassions my family and friends have told me: "You take someone from the north, and someone from the south, the chances are the dialect is so different that they won't understand each other". I just wat to warn you about some mistake, which isn't so innocent as it looks like. Namely in this film, slovene word for "bye"- "adi(j)o", isn't actualy slovene word but it's italian or even french. Therefore the right slovene word should be "zbogom", which literally mens the same as italian form of "adio".
